Edward is currently working as a Project Manager on European Commission funded projects hosted at FuJo: the JOLT European Training Network (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Action) and Provenance. Edward has worked extensively in the area of managing and supporting large-scale, European-funded research and training networks and was the Programme Manager on the Earth and Natural Sciences PhD Programme (funded by the HEA through PRTLI 5 and co-funded by the ERDF) and was the Project Manager on the CerealPath European Training Network. He also has extensive experience of working with a variety of national funding bodies, including the Irish Research Council, Science Foundation Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. Edward holds a BE and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, both from University College Dublin.
