News | Provenance panel at Age of Misinformation conference

Provenance is sponsoring a panel on countering disinformation at the CEST Age of Misinformation on 17 December 2020. 

CEST, with the support of the University of Florence, is organizing a multidisciplinary conference on fake news focusing on the framework of Culture 3.0 and post-normal science

The Provenance sponsored panel will be chaired by Provenance’s Eileen Culloty and focus on countering disinformation.  

Speakers include: 

  • Stephan Lewandowsky (University of Bristol)
  • Thomas Zerback (University of Zurich)
  • Thomas Grandjoua (EU DisinfoLab)
  • Rachel Armitage (Loughborough University, UK)
  • Vitalba Crivello (European Science-Media Hub of the European Parliament)

Eileen Culloty will contribute to the final round table on “Perspective of Regulation? Self-regulation, Co-regulation and Marketplace of Ideas”. The panel will be chaired by Oreste Pollicino (Bocconi University).
