Cibervoluntarios Foundation is a non-profit organization, shaped by social entrepreneurs, to promote the use and knowledge of new technologies to alleviate social gaps, generate social innovation, and foster citizen empowerment. Cibervoluntarios Foundation pioneers technological volunteering to promote the adoption of ICT by citizens, institutions and NGOs and to promote the participation of citizens in building a more inclusive society in Europe. Cibervoluntarios Foundation collaborates with a network of 1500 cyber volunteers representing almost 400 grassroots organisations throughout Spain. For 16 years, the Cibervoluntarios Foundation has trained cyber volunteers to seek, detect and analyze social needs within their local environment and improve it through actions, activities including free training in digital skills, tools and applications for collectives that are at the risk of social inclusion to foster citizen empowerment.
