Consortium | Researchers | Brendan Spillane

Brendan Spillane is a Research Fellow in the ADAPT Centre based in the School of Computer Science and Statistics in Trinity College Dublin. His research focuses on news, credibility, bias, misinformation, disinformation and fake news. Specifically, he is interested in human perception of news including the process of judgement and acceptance or dismissal. Previously he has worked on the ADELE project to develop a conversational care agent to aid in the care of the elderly where his work focused on human-agent communication.
