On 16 November 2020, a mock-up of the Provenance tool was presented at Media Literacy Ireland’s 'News Literacy Now' Webinar. The webinar featured presentations by Dr. Ciarán McMahon, Charles Salter from the The News Literacy Project, Lisa Buckley from Newsbrands Ireland.
During her presentation, Eileen presented a mock-up of the Provenance tool and explained the value of a citizen-focussed approach to countering disinformation.
Really interesting conversation on News Literacy organised by @MedialitIreland as part of #medialitmonday. Great to see @NewsWhip data making an appearance via @CullotyEileen and @ProvenanceH2020 pic.twitter.com/QEMCsaTL89
