Talks and Posters | Oct 2021 - Disinformation in the Digital Age
A four-part interview series by Europe Direct Blanchardstown examined whether digital disinformation poses a threat to EU democracy. Eileen Culloty from DCU was one of the four people interviewed for the series along with Ricardo da Silva (DCU), Aoife Gallagher (Institute for Strategic Dialogue), and Maria Walsh (MEP). Each interview examined how misinformation threatens EU democracy and the EU strategy to combat it; how to recognise disinformation, and the role of social media platforms. The videos are available onYouTube.

The Europe Direct Centre at Blanchardstown Library provides access to material covering a wide variety of topics, including general information about how the EU works; information about the various EU institutions and agencies; the latest news about EU affairs and events; and information about citizen rights in the EU.
